Today I’m pleased to present you with a rare good-news story, and in this case a fascinating one. It’s about how scientists are discovering a powerful new way to prevent cancer.

Elsewhere, Donald Trump is celebrating a military strike on a boat that he said was full of drugs and “narco-terrorists” from Tren de Aragua, a Venezuelan gang. But are members of drug cartels really terrorists? If the answer is no, Mr Trump’s actions are legally dubious. In this case, the American public may not care.
