看美國五六十年代棒球明星羅傑·馬里斯（Roger Maris)的傳記片，最感動的不是他破了單季全壘打世界紀錄的一刻，而是賽後他第一時間去探因病退賽的隊友米奇·曼托(Mickey Mantle)。
米奇是羅傑最強大的競爭對手，技高人靚，卻因身體原因被後起之秀羅傑超越，他的球迷因此憎惡冷口冷面的羅傑，一度影響到他跟羅傑的友誼。現在他見羅傑不去參加慶功宴卻來探望獨困醫院的他，喜出望外地道：「羅傑，你是好人。」
勝利的巔峰時刻也只淡淡一笑的羅傑，這時卻流淚了，他覺得這才是對他人生最大的肯定。
從她自己的經歷我們知道，她這話出自真心。她熱愛唱歌和家庭，然而成為巨星給她帶來的幸福感，遠比不上家庭。所以她花在經營家庭上的苦心，超過了事業。
為何那麼多歌星、影星、體育明星酗酒、吸毒、丑聞纏身，甚至不幸短命？我想，這是因為在熠熠的星光中，作個好人比平常人更難。
電影中，當米奇祝賀羅傑「你成功了！你拿到了！」羅傑也淡淡一笑道：「我打球不是為了這個。」
他的天才讓他愛上橄欖球，經過不懈努力，成為巨星，但他最在意最開心的，卻是被大家、尤其是好朋友認可是個好人。
