Anthropic announced a $200 million partnership with the Gates Foundation to support AI programs in global health, life sciences, education, and economic mobility over the next four years.
The commitment includes grant funding, Claude usage credits, and technical support for partners in the U.S. and globally.
The partnership will focus on improving health outcomes in low- and middle-income countries, supporting vaccine and therapy research for diseases such as polio, HPV, and preeclampsia, and building AI tools for education in the U.S., India, and sub-Saharan Africa.
