💞 奧西諾真的愛上了奧利維婭，還是只是愛上了「愛情的概念」？
🤳🏻 如果奧西諾公爵有社交媒體帳號，他和奧利維婭的關係狀態不會是“一言難盡”，而是“愛上了這種美感”。
📚 奧西諾聲稱自己為之傾倒，但仔細分析《第十二夜》就會發現，他其實根本不愛奧利維婭。他愛的是扮演一個心碎貴族的表演。
🤷 最明顯的證據是，奧西諾從未真正和她交談過。真正的愛情需要兩個人之間的連結，但奧西諾更喜歡待在家裡，懶洋洋地躺在軟墊上，聽著「甜美」的音樂。
👭 他派人去執行繁重的任務－先是一些不知名的廷臣，然後是塞薩裡奧。他對奧利維婭的性格、悲傷或思想都不感興趣；他感興趣的是一個「冷漠」的女人，一個符合他喜愛吟誦的詩歌模板的女人。

Is Orsino in Love, or Just in Love with the 'Idea of Love'?
If Duke Orsino had a social media profile, his relationship status with Olivia wouldn’t be "It’s Complicated"—it would be "In Love with the Aesthetic."
While Orsino claims to be dying of passion, a closer look at Twelfth Night suggests he isn't actually in love with Olivia at all. He is in love with the performance of being a heartbroken nobleman.
The most glaring evidence is that Orsino never actually talks to her. Real love requires a connection between two people, but Orsino prefers to stay home, lounging on cushions and listening to "sweet" music.
He sends messengers—first random courtiers and then Cesario—to do the heavy lifting. He isn't interested in Olivia’s personality, her grief, or her mind; he is interested in the idea of a "cold" woman who fits the template of the poetry he likes to recite.
In the famous opening lines, he asks for an "excess" of music so that his appetite for love might "sicken and so die." This isn't the language of someone seeking a partner; it’s the language of someone indulging in a mood. Olivia is merely the canvas he uses to paint his own dramatic self-portrait.
The Big Question:
If Olivia had actually said "yes" on Day One, would Orsino have been disappointed that his favorite drama was finally over?—
