6月台北的展覽排程對藝術迷來說實在是太幸福了！繼紐約大都會博物館釋出消息將在國立故宮博物院展出梵谷、雷諾瓦、高更等藝術大師們的真跡之後，英國泰德美術館的「威廉．透納特展」也將在6月底於台北中正紀念堂開展，這次的特展不僅是泰德美術館有史以來帶透納最多真跡出國的一次，更能從中看到威廉．透納完整的風景畫歷程足跡。

泰納（J. M. W. Turner）是英國歷史上最受喜愛的藝術家之一，不僅肖像登上20英鎊紙鈔，享譽全球的藝術獎項「泰納獎」亦以他為名，著名導演米克．李（Mike Leigh）也曾執導泰納的傳記電影……2025年適逢泰納250歲冥誕——泰納出生於1775年4月23日——紀念他的各式展覽、活動、計畫也將遍地開花。

2025年，英國眾多城市包括倫敦、愛丁堡、里茲、曼徹斯特、利物浦、諾里奇、巴斯、索塞克斯等，均計畫舉辦泰納相關展覽，更有許多書籍、電影、數位內容相繼出版。其中，泰德美術館（Tate）網站將呈獻一系列泰納3萬7500件速寫與水彩的完整目錄，並於年底推出「泰納與康斯塔伯」大展（Turner and Constable）。BBC計畫發行一部紀錄片，而米克．李於2014年的《泰納先生》（Mr. Turner）也將於BFI Southbank放映。學術界將迎來泰德不列顛美術館（Tate Britain）主辦的國際研討會，以及泰納當代美術館（Turner Contemporary）一場以藝術與自然之連結為題的高峰會。泰納紀念活動不僅限於英國，美國康乃迪克州紐黑文的耶魯英國藝術中心（Yale Center for British Art）、俄亥俄州的辛辛那提藝術博物館（Cincinnati Art Museum）與泰夫特藝術博物館（Taft Museum of Art ）也有相關展出計畫。上海浦東美術館亦與泰德美術館合作，攜手推出「對話泰納：崇高的迴響」大展。
