Yesterday, July 9th, marked the 60th Anniversary of the Russell-Einstein Manifesto, which Einstein helped author prior to his passing on April 18, 1955. The manifesto called for an end to the nuclear arms race and encouraged world leaders to come together and find peace in the midst of international conflict.
