Mr. Bean (Rowan Atkinson) – The story of the man who never gave up on his dreams.
Rowan Atkinson was born in a middle-class family and suffered terribly as a child because of his stuttering. He was also teased and bullied at school because of his looks. His bullies thought he looked like an alien. He was soon marked a strange and became a very shy, withdrawn kid who didn’t have many friends, so he dived into science, one of his teachers said. There was nothing outstanding about him. I did not expect him to be a brilliant scientist, but he has proved everyone wrong.
Admitted to Oxford University during his days, he started falling in love with acting but couldn’t perform due to his speaking disorder. he got his master’s degree in electrical engineering before appearing in any movie or TV show after getting his degree, he decided to pursue his dream and become an actor so he enrolled in a comedy group but again, his stammering got in the way.
A lot of TV shows rejected him, and he felt devastated but despite the many rejections. He never stopped believing in himself. He had a great passion for making people laugh and knew that he was very good at it. he started focusing more and more on his original comedy sketches and soon realized that he could speak fluently whenever he played some character. he found a way to overcome his stuttering and his also used there is an inspiration for his acting. While studying for his master’s Rowan Atkinson co-created the strange, surreal, and now speaking character known as Mr. Bean.
He had success with other shows, Mr. Bean made him globally famous and despite all the obstacles, he faced because of his looks and his speaking disorder, he proved that even without a heroic body or a Hollywood face, you can become one of the most loved and respected actors in the world. 今天，是豆豆先生的61歲大壽！羅溫·艾金森，CBE（英文：Rowan Atkinson），是一位英國喜劇演員，曾出演英國電視劇《Blackadder》（中譯《黑爵士》）及《豆豆秀》，並以其「豆豆先生」形象深入民心。
其實羅溫患有嚴重的口吃，2007年在時代雜誌採訪他的「請教豆豆十個問題」（10 Questions）專欄中，來自芝加哥的記者朱莉亞·雪帕德問他是否克服了口吃，他回答：
「我的口吃時好時壞，要看我的心情是不是很緊張。不過口吃對我來說確實是一個很大的問題。我發現當我在演戲的時候，口吃就消失了。口吃的問題也許是促使我當演員的靈感之一。」

1975年，當時20歲的路雲已創作「戇豆先生」這角色，但他仍在牛津讀書，間中參演劇社。到1981年，他在倫敦西區劇院首次用「戇豆」這角色表演獨腳戲，一炮而紅。1990年「戇豆」登上電視，劇集《戇豆先生》分為14集、每集半小時播放，直至1995年才播出最後一集，但已廣受歡迎。此劇在全球200多個地區播出，後來更改編成同名電影及動畫，路雲的酬金收個不停，加上其製作公司亦獲得甚豐，有調查估計他2003年時的身家高達6,000萬英鎊，相當於7.2億港元，是當時英國最富有的電視名人。
路雲嘗試跳出「戇豆」框框，如在電影《四個婚禮一個葬禮》、《真的戀愛了》中客串小角色，2003年他在電影《特務戇 J》擔正，但票房和口碑均欠佳，加上事業近年停滯不前，令他患上抑鬱症，閉關2年後再出發，擔演《戇豆撞正女殺手》、《戇豆先生》續集《戇豆放大假》等電影，但已產量不多。

路雲除醉心戲劇，還致力捍衛言論自由。2005年他與演藝界組成聯盟，要求英國國會檢討種族及宗教仇恨法案，擔心宗教團體有過大權力限制創作自由；2009年英國政府欲立法禁止仇視同性戀言論，並想刪除免責條款，路雲促請上議院投反對票；2012年路雲表態支持「修訂公安法運動」，不滿多年來將侮辱言行入罪，2年後成功逼政府修例。此外，路雲亦熱心公益，不時捐贈弱勢社群，加上他對戲劇界的貢獻，2013年獲頒大英帝國司令勳章。
