The "Dali nose" fireplace is a central feature in the 
Mae West Room installation at the Dalí Theatre-Museum in Figueres, Spain. This unique, three-dimensional surrealist apartment is based on Salvador Dalí's 1935 gouache and photographic composition, Mae West's Face which May Be Used as a Surrealist Apartment. 
Key elements of the room include:
  • The Nose: A large, two-burner fireplace (with two areas for logs at the base of each nostril).
  • The Lips: A famous lip-shaped sofa.
  • The Eyes: Two framed paintings of views of Paris (originally from a magazine photo, later enhanced by Dalí).
  • The Hair: Blonde theatrical curtains framing the entrance. 
When viewed from a specific, elevated viewpoint through a magnifying lens, the individual items in the room align perfectly to form the face of the famous Hollywood actress Mae West.

 ( 芥川龍之介全集(全5冊) .山東文藝出版社,2005 -- 《全集》共五大卷,近300万字,包括小说 148篇、诗歌 14篇、小品55 篇、随笔66篇、游记 9篇、评论43 篇及日记、书信等,由林少华等15 位日本文学研究界的专家集5年之力翻译而成。
 -----由日本國際交流基金會資助出版.  這種集體翻譯水準不一  可能只能了解大意. 林少華先生的中文都沒法表達村上春樹的作品 所以現在選賴明珠的......

讀 『河童旅行 素描本』之「令人懷念的書」(送邱振瑞先生)


好一陣子沒看到邱振瑞先生,特別寫一文送他。
約一年前,我們談一陣子"芥川 竜之介 全集" ,他寫過這樣的信給我:

我想引我的朋友王晃三格言(2000/02):「先求其對,再求其快;先求其有,再求其好。 漢清共勉之。王晃三89.1.28」
中國大陸的作法正是如此,希望未來數十年我們另有一套忠實而美輪美奐的《芥川龍之介全集》。
書,可以是藝術品,譬如說,Henri Matisse 為 Jazz 所作的插畫。這種體會,日本也早就有成。
譬如說,我們讀 『河童旅行 素描本』之「令人懷念的書」(pp.187-90),知道『三つの宝』正是這樣的(童話書)藝術品。它的中文翻譯只有漢字:『三件珍寶』《芥川龍之介
全集 第2卷 pp.280-92》。

不過,我們的下一代可能可以進入新的出版和體會之書境。

讀他書信,知某人要裝潢,想用他的漢詩。他深感不安,選司馬光兩首和徐璣一首給友人。(第五卷,第 514頁)

 2013.7.6 重讀此卷的書信. 以大學時代寫的信最為豐富. 他起碼可以讀簡單德語和法語著作.另外很特殊的是日本當時對西方藝術的認識有全面和一定的水準.應該記住他不到40歲就死啦.....




邱振瑞:「五大冊的《芥川龍之介全集》,封面設計和裝幀都很雅致,依份量來看應該是「全集」沒錯。
可惜主編者未寫明譯自哪個版本,少了文學全集應有的嚴謹與格局。
我隨意瀏覽了幾篇發現,譯文中有部分因大意造成的錯譯。
另外,<南京的基督>一文,剛好可看出譯者面對歷史的真實與尷尬時,所採取的立場頗值得探討。」

芥川龍之介(Akutagawa, Ryunosuke) :作品名 .; 蜘蛛の糸 ; 蜜柑 ; 地獄変 …. 1892–1927, Japanese author. One of Japan's finest short-story writers, he derived many of his tales from historical Japanese sources, but told them with psychological insights in an individualistic style. "Rashomon"(1915 這「羅生門」收入英文字眼) and "In a Grove" (1921) were made into the classic 1950 film Rashomon, directed by Akira Kurosawa . His later writings, largely autobiographical fiction, were not successful, and this lack of popular response may have contributed to his suicide.

查對中文《芥川龍之介 全集》之翻譯【顏色傳暖意 蕊上塗著一層蠟 美哉人造花】。了解詩歌幾乎無法翻譯,雖然原詩漢字頗多。「全集」編排不恰當。

*(1892-1927) 小説家。東京生まれ。号、澄江堂主人・我鬼など。東大卒。第三次・第四次「新思潮」同人。「鼻」で夏目漱石に激賞され、才気あふれるさまざまな作風の短編小説を書きつぐ。「何か僕の将来に対する唯ぼんやりした不安」を抱いて服毒自殺。作品「羅生門」「芋粥」「地獄変」「河童」「歯車」など。
