現年 79 歲的蘇珊莎蘭登曾主演《末路狂花》（Thelma & Louise）與《越過死亡線》（Dead Man Walking）等經典作品；她長期投入社會運動，近年更頻繁為巴勒斯坦發聲。
2023 年，在以色列對加薩展開種族滅絕後，她因出席美國多場親巴勒斯坦集會並公開發言，遭長期合作的聯合精英經紀公司（United Talent Agency）解約。

9 月 6 日星期日，蘇珊莎蘭登出席威尼斯影展，宣傳由義大利導演帕勞洛（Andrea Pallaor）執導的新片《回音室》（The Echo Chamber）。當記者問到好萊塢對加薩局勢的態度是否有轉變時，她認為一般大眾的認知確實不一樣了。
「我覺得大家對於巴勒斯坦歷史意義，以及猶太復國主義者（Zionists）與美國政治之間的關係，整個社會輿論已經完全翻轉。」她說，「大家這才幡然醒悟，原來美國政府給了以色列這麼多錢，以前根本沒什麼人真正理解這件事。」
不過，她也指出演藝圈背後的權力結構並沒有因此動搖。
「最近還是有原本找我的電影最後換角，至今仍有經紀公司在背後施壓，告訴別人不要找我演戲。」她表示。
蘇珊莎蘭登表示，當初導演帕勞洛（Andrea Pallaoro）決定找她接演《回音室》時，其實也曾被勸阻，只是導演選擇置之不理。
根據《衛報》，《回音室》入圍第 83 屆威尼斯影展主競賽單元，將與其他 20 部作品共同角逐金獅獎，頒獎典禮預計於 9 月 12 日登場。

2025年2月台灣主要19家半導體與數位產品製造商的總營收達到1兆3770億新台幣，較去年同期成長43.7%，創下四年來最高增幅。這主要受惠於生成式人工智慧（AI）伺服器的穩定需求，使相關企業業績顯著提升，並實現連續12個月的營收成長。其中，17家企業營收增加，僅2家企業減收，成長率達到2021年2月（46.4%）以來的最高水準。
由於今年春節假期較去年提前至1月下旬，許多企業的2月工作天數增加。此外，為因應川普政府可能對各國與地區施加額外關稅，不少企業選擇提前生產與出貨，也進一步推動營收成長。
在電子產品代工（EMS）領域，鴻海精密工業（Foxconn）營收成長56.4%，主要受惠於智慧型手機新機效應，以及來自輝達（NVIDIA）等企業的伺服器訂單。同業的廣達電腦（Quanta）受AI伺服器需求帶動，營收大增78.6%，成長幅度居前。
半導體方面，台積電（TSMC）受惠於來自輝達與蘋果（Apple）的高端晶片代工需求，營收成長43.1%。專注於成熟製程的聯華電子（UMC）則成長4.3%。

整體而言，台灣主要IT製造商在AI伺服器需求持續擴張及市場回溫的帶動下，營收表現強勁，展現出半導體與電子產業的高度競爭力與成長潛力。
