Beatles’ Hey Jude. Julian59, Sir Paul McCartney 80 . William the Conqueror(c. 1028 – 1087),

John Lennon's son Julian took to Twitter on Saturday after bumping into his late father's Beatles bandmate Sir Paul McCartney at an airport lounge.

Amazingly Paul was listening to a track by Julian himself from his new album “Jude” on his phone at the time.
As everyone knows the Beatles’ Hey Jude started out as Hey Jules and was written in 1968 by Paul after seeing Julian (then aged only 5) after John had left Cynthia for Yoko and that is the reason why Julian used the name Jude for his new album.
Paul is now 80 and Julian is 59!

At William the Conqueror’s funeral in 1087, an unexpected event took place. The monks, tasked with placing his body into a stone coffin made for him in his younger, slimmer days, faced a challenge they hadn’t anticipated. By the time William passed, he had gained considerable weight. Unaware of this, the monks struggled to fit him into the coffin.

As they pressed on, the coffin couldn’t handle the strain and burst open. This caused quite a stir, with everyone in the church fleeing in surprise. It was an odd, almost comical moment in the funeral of a man who had dramatically reshaped history by becoming the first Norman King of England.
Despite this embarrassing mishap, William's legacy endured. He is remembered for his pivotal role in the 1066 Norman Conquest and for reshaping England’s social and political landscape. While his funeral may have been marked by an unexpected twist, his reign ushered in a new era for England.
