Train travel in Germany has experienced a drastic increase in passengers with around 1 million more passengers traveling by train this January compared to January 2019. With Deutsche Bahn promoting train travel as a more "comfortable, climate friendly alternative to cars or planes", is this increase the fruits of good marketing or are we seeing "the Greta Effect"?
